so we’re on the same page…
when inquiring & booking with me you are agreeing to these terms;
- I require a down deposit of half the amount of your full session to secure your spot. The other half of your payment will be due on the day of our session! This helps with the process of honoring my time slots as bookings have been filling up quickly AND so you, (the client), don’t have to worry about paying the full amount up front– high quality photos should not have to be stressful! $100 of your down deposit is nonrefundable!
- If you need to cancel our session for scheduling reasons on your end after you have paid your down deposit within 12 hours of your session, I would go ahead and keep your down deposit and you would start the inquire process from the start. This is also to honor my time and avoid last minute cancellations! *of course there are exceptions if the cancellation reason is extreme
if the client does not communicate and there is a no show to the session, I will keep your down deposit and half of the remaining balance.
- I allow a 5 minute grace period when arriving to your session (I get it– life happens!). However, anything past 10 minutes is cutting into your session’s time. Once you are 15 minutes past your start time, the photoshoot will be cancelled and I will keep your down deposit plus ask for a $10 late fee. Depending on time + location, I try to give as much information on parking and traffic to ensure you can get to your photoshoot without any stress.
- In the situation of the weather permitting our session– I would keep the down deposit AND put it towards our next rescheduled session while prioritizing our booking. If you choose not to reschedule from weather permitting our session, I will send the remainder of your down deposit (the portion that IS refundable) back over to you!
- Summer beach sessions on Wrightsville Beach, if within the hours of paid parking, will add an additional $6 to your deposit on the day of to cover parking fees! Typically with sunrise & sunset sessions, we do not go into paid parking hours– so don’t let this steer you away!
